Dr. Josephine (Dr. Jo) is a strategic thinker who influences critical decisions in the public and private sectors.
A well-seasoned, multi-disciplinary professional with extensive experience in accounting and finance, she has a knack for global economics and development finance. Dr. Jo has a track record of operating in the Namibian and U.S. markets for over 20 years, as a finance executive advising boards of both publicly listed, private companies and State-Owned Enterprises.
She is respected for her integrity, unique perspectives, well-balanced thinking with measured judgment, and ability to simplify complex finance concepts into easily understandable ideas.
Dr. Jo is passionate about access to investment capital for African entrepreneurs and believes in building the bridge between funders and founders. She enjoys transformational challenges that lead to sustainable business results.
Dr. Jo is a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA), a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), with an MPA in Strategic Management and a Ph.D. focusing on institutional financial sustainability.
She has received prestigious awards such as the Fulbright Scholarship, the World Business Chicago Fellowship, and the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program.
